Joan Pomaranc

Joan is a longtime member of the Board and an active member of historic KAM Isaiah Israel congregation in the Hyde Park-Kenwood neighborhood. She is a native Chicagoan who grew up at Temple Sholom on the North Side and now lives in the South Loop. Joan’s career has been in the history and architecture fields: at the Commission on Chicago Landmarks, Chicago History Museum, and currently at AIA Chicago, the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects. She has been a volunteer with Landmarks Illinois and Friends of Downtown.
