Rachelle is a proud third-generation Jewish Chicagoan with roots in North Lawndale, Lawn Manor, and West Rogers Park. Her involvement in the Chicago Jewish Historical Society began in 2002. She is honored to have served as President since 2017. Her prior board positions were Membership Chair and Secretary. In her professional life, Rachelle is a clinical psychologist in private practice, with degrees from Northwestern University and Rutgers University. In addition to Chicago Jewish history, her other passions include studying Jewish texts, doing art, gardening, swimming, and volunteering at The ARK.
